What makes Tuscany extraordinary is her balance: she has the sensitivity and talent to suit a competitive rider, yet the calm, forgiving temperament that makes her safe for beginners. She has taken two green riders to their first shows, where she won every class and even marked a 70, all while being guided by green riders.
She has never been spooky, and never “mareish”. She’s collected, steady, and endlessly smart. Trainers who have ridden her ride describe her as talented, quiet, feely, and naturally gifted. You can feel her quality every time you sit in the saddle.

The Road Less Taken
Unlike many top reining horses, Tuscany hasn’t spent years in a professional program. She’s been mostly ridden at home, with only minimal professional training, simply because we couldn’t imagine sending her away… we enjoyed riding her too much ourselves!
Even so, she has proven her abilities in the show pen and at home for us: her stops are powerful, she can “+” her spins, and her talent undeniable. We believe she has always had the makings of an elite competitor, and we know her foals will carry that legacy forward.
More Than Just a Show Horse
She has proven to be an exceptional teacher for beginners, patiently carrying first-time riders and helping them feel what a real reining horse can do without ever overwhelming them. She has the rare ability to adjust herself, soft and responsive in the hands of an advanced rider, yet calm and steady enough for someone just learning.
Beyond the arena, Tuscany has shown her versatility in trail riding and even cutting cattle. She’ll head down the trail with the same quiet confidence she carries in the show pen, and when it comes to cattle, she’s alert, brave, and all business,proving her cow sense from the very first introduction.
She also shines in liberty training, showing off her quirky and playful side. She can stop brideless & spin bridleless. She is sensitive to fairness, yet she meets every rider with honesty and willingness when treated with kindness.

While her show record only scratches the surface of her potential, we believe Tuscany is a foundation mare who will shape the future of our breeding program. Her bloodlines, temperament, and natural ability ensure her foals will not only succeed in reining but will carry forward her quiet strength and charm.
