About

Thank you for visiting our website about our horse ranch in East St. Paul, Manitoba! Our small ranch is dedicated to breeding reining horses, Olde English Bulldogges, and caring for our resident chickens and tortoises.

We take pride in our commitment to producing top-quality reining horses with strong bloodlines. Our horses are carefully selected and bred for their athleticism, intelligence, and trainability. Our indoor arena, eight stalls, and surrounding acres provide the perfect environment for raising and training these exceptional horses.

In addition to our quarter horse breeding program, we also operate Central Bark, a dog daycare, grooming, boarding, and training business which also resides on our property. Our expertise in working with dogs has translated well to our training of reining horses, and we are working hard to develop our skills further.

We believe that building a strong connection between horse and trainer is essential for success in any discipline, and we strive to create a positive and rewarding experience for both horse and human. Our approach to horse training goes beyond using just pressure and release methods. We believe in utilizing all four quadrants of horse training, which includes positive reinforcement, negative reinforcement, positive punishment, and negative punishment. We strive to create a balanced and humane training program that respects the horse’s natural instincts and promotes a positive relationship between horse and trainer. Through our experience, we have discovered that this training method helps us to establish a strong and positive relationship with our horses. We are passionate about sharing this approach with others and hope to help educate and teach others the benefits of utilizing all four quadrants of horse training. We believe that this will not only lead to a better understanding of the horse’s behavior and psychology but also foster a deeper connection between horse and trainer.

Our Olde English Bulldogges are health tested and have wonderful temperaments. We take great care to ensure that each puppy is well-socialized and placed in the perfect home. We also breed tortoises and have a batch of babies once in a while, adding to the diversity of our ranch. You can find out more information on our bullies here. https://beastiebulls.ca/

We are currently in the process of renovating a second house on our property available for rent as an Airbnb, offering the public the opportunity to stay overnight on our farm and experience our ranch firsthand. We believe that this unique experience will provide our guests with an understanding of farm life, as well as an opportunity to interact with our animals and witness our daily routines.

In the future, we hope to expand our offerings to include riding lessons for beginners, equine rehabilitation, and other services to provide our guests with an even more immersive experience. We are excited about the prospect of sharing our passion for horses and animals with others and hope to create a memorable and fulfilling experience for all who visit our ranch.

Thank you for considering our horse ranch for your breeding, or training needs.
