Our Story
“Working with horses has always been my greatest dream, even when it felt out of reach. For years I poured my heart into the canine world—breeding, grooming, training, and building a community there—while quietly holding onto the hope of one day stepping fully into the horse world. Through perseverance, faith, and the success of our other ventures, that dream has finally become reality. Our barn may be small, but it is fueled by an unwavering passion: to raise horses that are not only competitive in the arena, but also safe, reliable partners that families can trust. We know setbacks, and hard times are part of this way of life, but we believe resilience—showing up for our horses the way they show up for us—is what builds true horsemanship. Every foal here represents not just proven bloodlines, but also the values we live by: care, integrity, and a commitment to treating our horses like family”

Our Program
At Maple Ridge, we keep our breeding program intentionally small. Each foal is planned with purpose, balancing proven reining bloodlines with the quiet-minded temperament that makes a horse both a competitor and a lifelong partner. Our focus is on producing horses that are beginner-safe, youth-friendly, and non pro–suitable, while still having the ability to step up and be competitive in the show pen. We believe great horses are those that not only win but also build confidence, teach lessons, and create lasting memories for their riders. By keeping quality over quantity at the heart of our program, we ensure every horse receives the attention, training, and care it deserves. We spend countless hours studying pedigrees, refining our training philosophy, and giving our horses the kind of hands-on care that can only come from living alongside them every day. Quality will always come before quantity here, and that focus allows us to raise horses with both heart and talent.
